Randall C. Songy is a shareholder with the Onebane Law Firm where he has worked since 1977. He practices in the areas of energy law, oil and gas regulatory matters, oil and gas litigation, mediation and arbitration. Randy is a director for the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association (LOGA) and serves on the Louisiana Mineral Law Institute Advisory Council. Randy has been a frequent speaker at oil and gas seminars.
Randy completed his undergraduate studies at Nicholls State University and his graduate work at Louisiana State University Law Center where he earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1977. At LSU Law School, he was elected Order of the Coif and was a member of the Louisiana Law Review.
Randy lives in Lafayette with his wife, Nancy. He is originally from Donaldsonville, and she grew up in St. James. They have four children, Charles, Claudia, Christine, and Chad. He is a proud grandfather to Katelyn and Emilio. He also enjoys golf, tailgating and cheering on the LSU Tigers football team.
